Straight horizontal polishing machine for flat edges from 1 to 6 cm. The system of three top and bottom chamfer
wheels gives a finished polish to chamfers. The system of transport guarantees very good stability and reduces

The working mode is on a continuous process basis. This means that all the pieces are loaded one after the
other on the machine and move past a series of mandrels so that they come out completely finished. Apart
from the mandrels for polishing and smoothing the edge, the LCH machine is also equipped with mandrels for
chamfering both sides of the edge. The machine can also be equipped with additional mandrels for dripstone
cutting, thickness gauging and shaping with suitable diamond tools.

TOUCH SCREEN CONTROL PANEL, intuitive and easy to use, supported by an articulated arm, it runs each aspect of the machine
functioning with pre-set programming that can be personalised and stored. Moreover it is set for the following functions:
• Diagnostics, for working anomalies and/or for failures;
• Working statistics to store quantities according to a particular processing with total, zeroed, and partial counters;
• Maintenance program.
PARTIAL PROCESSING. Partial processing on edges, chamfers, and optional units with pneumatically-working mandrels can be programmed and carried out through the
control panel. That function allows the control of the working beginning and end of each pneumatic mandrel. You can get T-shaped, L-shaped, or horseshoe kitchen tops, “nonthrough”
processings, such as non-slip strips by a rotor-bush hammering wheel, or non-through housings.
DISTINCT ADVANCES AND DELAYS FOR EACH MANDREL. The pneumatic units work electronically. That allows the programming of distinct advances and delays for the
engagement and disengagement of each mandrel. That is particularly useful when polishing a single slab, because common defects at the beginning and end of the slab can
POLISHING THE EDGE OF NON-RECTANGULAR SLABS. When working mechanically, the pressure rollers, placed at a certain distance from the edge, make the polishing
mandrels go forward. When working electronically the slab is detected by sensors exactly on the edge reference line. In that way the working of the polishing mandrels is
synchronized precisely with the presence of the material, thus avoiding that a wheel engages before the arrival of the slab, or that it has not engaged when the slab has already passed. That is valid for non-rectangular slabs (e.g. fan-shaped steps).
